Well weight

Are you the right weight for your height? If you don't know, or want to keep tabs on whether your weight is going up or down then visit one of our free wellpoints.

What are wellpoints?

Wellpoints weigh you and check your Body Mass Index (BMI) and blood pressure. Your BMI is a measurement that helps to understand if you are in a healthy weight range and is based on your weight and height. The wellpoint also has loads of information about different activities and healthy eating support that's going on in your area. And it's all available at the touch of a screen. But don't worry it doesn't say your weight out loud - it prints out your results for you to take away or you can get them sent to you by text or email.

Where are the wellpoints?

There are three wellpoints, they can be found at:

  • Kinsley Resource Centre in Kinsley
  • Lloyds Chemist, 25 The Square in Airedale
  • Wakefield Market's Food Hall near the Demonstration station.
