If you are looking for fresh, low cost fruit and veg then look no further than Wakefield based company The Hungry Snail Food Co-op.

What is The Hungry Snail Food Co-op?

The Hungry Snail Food Co-op is a not for profit co-operative helping the people of Wakefield district to access more fresh fruit and vegetables. They are about providing sensible food at sensible prices in convenient ways for local people. They accept Healthy Start Vouchers, cash or you can order and pay through PayPal.

Where does the Hungry Snail Food Co-op sell their produce?

They can deliver fresh fruit and veg direct to your door. If you would like them to visit your area please give them a call or you can pop along to one of their local stalls, these are based at:

  • St Swithuns Community Centre on Thursdays from 10.30am to 2pm
  • The Spring, 299 Barnsley Road, Wakefield on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10am to 3pm
  • Stall coming soon to the Kinsley and Fitzwilliam Resource Centre...
