Demonstration station
If you would like to pick up some top tips on cooking tasty, healthy dishes then pop along to the demonstration station.
What is the demonstration station?
The demonstration station has a fully kitted out kitchen with TV screens and a speaker system. It's set up to host cooking demonstrations and for NHS and council staff to promote local, healthy living services. Budding young, local chef Josh Angell holds regular Saturday cooking sessions, russling up healthy, delicious meals using fresh, local produce.
Where is the demonstration station?
It's located in Wakefield Market's Food Hall, just next to the bus station. So not only can you get some great recipe ideas but you can also support local market traders by picking up your ingredients whilst you are there. And if you want to check out your weight and blood pressure at the same time we have a free Wellpoint located in the Food Hall too.
How do I find out what's on when?
