PCT Board and the new Cluster Board

NHS Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield District PCT Cluster

NHS Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield District Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) became a Cluster in June 2011. Each PCT is still a statutory organisation in its own right, but all three are managed by a single Board which came into being on 1 October 2011.

Mike Potts has been appointed as Chief Executive for the Cluster whilst Angela Monaghan has been appointed as the Cluster Chair.

Each PCT will remain accountable until all PCTs are abolished in 2013.

The Board meets monthly in different venues across the Cluster.

The executive directors are:

Mike Potts - Chief Executive

Jonathan Molyneux (interim until March 2012) - Executive Director of Finance and Efficiency

Sue Cannon - Executive Director of Quality and Governance (Nursing)

Ann Ballarini - Executive Director of Commissioning and Service Development

Matt Walsh - Executive Medical Director

Sue Ellis- Director of HR and Organisational Development

Dr Peter Flynn - Director of Performance and Commissioning Development

The Board also includes 8 Non-Executive Directors.
