White Paper for Public Health

The Government has released White Paper for Public Health.

It sets out the Government's long-term vision for the future of public health in England. The aim is to create a 'wellness' service (Public Health England) and to strengthen both national and local leadership.

To make sure it delivers improvements to the health of the population, the Government will be consulting on some elements. Please click on the links below for details on the consultation. The closing date, originally 8 March has been extended to 31 March 2011.
